Statutory Testing

Portable appliance testing and tagging, or in-service safety inspection and testing, is a legislative requirement for companies to ensure the equipment their staff use is safe and correctly maintained.

AS/NZS 3760 is the standard, which governs the testing requirements for portable electrical equipment. Test results are measured against the guidelines in this standard and all visual and functional inspections and verification must also comply with this standard.

At Crosslink Electrical, we use industry leading test equipment to ensure results are accurate. Unlike companies that employ staff that do a few of modules at TAFE, Crosslink Electrical are trained electricians that understand exactly what they are testing and can repair faults or suggest further action if required.

As part of our portable appliance testing service, we can generate a record of test results and an Appliance Log, that can be used by the client for auditing. This log can either be an electronic or hard copy.

Air Conditioning

As Crosslink Electrical hold both an electrical and refrigerant handling licence, why not employ one company to complete the entire installation for you. Often, a refrigeration mechanic is required to install the air conditioner unit and then an electrician is required to complete the electrical connections and supply. Having the same company complete the installation without the need to organise other trades and sub contractors is easier. One company, both trades.

LED Lighting

One of the fastest developing improvements to the electrical industry is LED lighting. Advances are being made in many applications for domestic, commercial and industrial environments, which deliver long term cost savings to the end user.
